I Risked a Hell Fire of Mosquitoes and Deer Flies for This Photo

Just a short entry for today…. I grabbed my Nikon Z7ii and 50 mm macro lens (Nikkor 50 mm f/2.8 MC lens) when I took my dog for his morning walk.

The sun was relatively still low in the sky.

Mosquitoes and deer flies were out in full force. To be honest with you, I cannot recall another year any where nearly as bad as they are this year!

I was keeping my eye out for a nicely lit flower.

This scene caught my eye.

I had to work fast or risk requiring a blood transfusion LOL.
